Shutters are incredibly versatile and look amazing in any space, in any room. Bathrooms are no different. So, keep reading to find out just how to choose the perfect bathroom shutters for you.

What Makes Shutters a Good Choice for Bathrooms?

There are several key features that make bathroom shutters particularly suitable. They are easy to measure and install (just see our handy guides), they’re affordable, they’re great for privacy, and they are easy to wipe down and keep clean. Materials Are Important

So long as your room is well ventilated, all our shutter materials are suitable for bathrooms. Both our Essential Hybrawood and Natural Hardwood shutters are great for bathrooms, providing that they are not directly exposed to water.  However, if your bathroom shutters are going to be coming into direct contact with water, or the room is unventilated, we would advise going for our Waterproof Polyvinyl Shutters. PVC gives the same appearance as wood and being made from PVC means that they won’t split or warp when exposed to water. Waterproof bathroom shutters are also ideal for wet rooms, saunas, and some kitchens.

Don’t Forget About Style

Whether it’s in a living room, bedroom, kitchen, or otherwise, the first things to consider when it comes to window dressings are what levels of light and privacy you are happy with. For bathroom shutters it is no different, and there are a couple of styles which we would recommend. What about colour?
