The Central Tilt Rod is positioned front-centre on each panel, connecting all of the louvres with staple pins.

The Hidden Tilt Rod connects the louvres together by a thin metal rod on the rear of the panel. 

 

The Hidden Tilt Rod is a fully-concealed mechanism built into the stile (vertical panel framing around the slats).

This photo shows the rear of the shutter panel. As you can see, there is visible rod connecting the slats. 

Full Height with Midrail shutters offer greater control over light and privacy. The sets of louvres above and below the midrail can be tilted independently.

The Frame-to-Panel hinges allow of a few millimetres of adjustment for ease of installation.

If you have a left panel meeting a right panel there will be an ‘Astragal’ stile on the right. This moulded strip helps to maximise light reduction and ensures there is not a light gap between panels

Our frames come with pre-attached magnet strike plates for the panel magnets to connect to, keeping your panels closed. Strike plates will either be circular or 'arch' shaped depending on the range of shutters you choose.

Window frames and recesses are rarely perfectly square and level. If you have any gaps around your shutter frame you can easily fill these with decorators caulk.

Our frames come with cover strips to hide the screws. This image shows an Outside Mount Vintage L frame.

Hinge parts are easily connected by removable drop-in hinge pins, which are included in all hardware kits.
