Wooden Conservatory Shutters

Mrs Cotton from Bournemouth had a conservatory built around 10 years ago and slowly saw her neighbours follow suit with all different shapes and sizes popping up around her. Not wanting to be the same, Mrs Cotton contacted us to see if shutters were an option on conservatory windows and naturally we were more than happy to help out and make this conservatory stand out from the crowd.

“I love my conservatory but hated the vertical blinds that I had covering the windows that just hung there like strips of white cardboard. Everyone in the neighbourhood seemed to have the same and I just wanted something different and a window covering that would give me flexibility with regards to light and privacy. A friend told me about the shutter store and told me to contact them especially as I had an installer on site as my husband is a trained carpenter. From my initial call right the way through to the end result, I could not have been happier. The service was exemplary, the dedicated help with measuring they gave us, sending out colour samples, helping me place the order online as I am not the best computer person and lastly talking through the installation side of things with my husband. I chose wooden conservatory shutters as I can adjust the light by simply moving the centre push rod on the shutter panels and it moves all the louvres to where I want to retain our privacy yet allow in maximum light. If I want total sunshine and feel like total exposure, then I can fold the panels back completely. I am the talk of the neighbourhood and I love it as I definitely now stand out from the crowd.”

We are so pleased Mrs Cotton that you stand out from the crowd. Wooden conservatory shutters do look amazing and give you total flexibility to allowing as much light in as possible whilst retaining privacy. The push rod not only gives the room that plantation look but also gives it a more traditional feel. Conservatory shutters also help keep the room cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
